The Banquet Room

I was on the first floor, on my way from the elevator to the restaurant, walking along the wide, carpeted hallway, when I walked into one of the Banquet Rooms by accident. It was by most standards, cavernous. The room was about thirty feet wide by sixty feet long. with a ceiling that was at least twenty-five feet high. There were floor to ceiling windows with sheer white curtains in front of the glass with very heavy drapes held back by decorative braid on each side of window. Around
