Howard Street was to be our second time in San Francisco.

It had two apartments upstairs; a large first floor; and a large basement.

We rented out the space several time to a group of folks called 'Odyssey'.

Incidents that come to mind and bring smiles.

  • During this time, Susan was teaching school and I was working 80 to 120 hours per week at Microprose in Alameda. When my car died, I replaced it with another Lincoln and put 'WBMSTR1' license plates on it. I was SCM and Build Master on a flight simulator: my "Pilot Name": Master, of course! For a while, we had over a dozen 'perverts' working for Microprose, and they didn't even know...
  • It seemed that every time we had a party, the downstairs bathroom toilet backed up. Maybe that will explain why I was always stressed at our parties.
