George Harrison Marks (6 August 1926 - 27 June 1997) was a British glamour photographer specializing in nudes. He was also the original publisher of the spanking magazine Kane (Harrison Marks Publications) and the creator of a number of spanking films.
In the early 1960s, Marks directed some of England's first nudist and "nudie cutie" exploitation films. He began, as Kamera Productions, making nude "stag" films for the underground market. These were silent 5-minute film loops showing busty women in whimsical situations undressing before the camera. Expanding on this simple concept, he made his first feature film, Naked as Nature Intended, in 1961. This was followed by The Naked World of Harrison Marks (1965), Pattern of Evil (1967), The Nine Ages of Nakedness (1969) and Come Play With Me (1977). His preference for photographing and filming large-breasted women led to his being dubbed "The English Russ Meyer".
In 1979 he worked as a fetish photographer for the spanking magazine Janus (magazine). In 1982 he left Janus to create his own magazine Kane, described as "The CP Journal of Fantasy, Fact and Fiction for Adults." He went on to direct (and perform in) many corporal punishment videos in the '80s and '90s. Some of his videos include: The Spanking Academy of Dr. Blunt, Stinging Tales, and Spanker's Paradise (1 & 2) in 1992 with English porn star Vida Garman.
